I don't know why I always choose to write blogs on the weekends when nobody typically gets online. This is when my thoughts are processing and well, I don't have time to process during the week. For some reason, I love it when my husband blogs. It's like experiencing a new flavor. He is a quiet guy and always has something interesting to say when he finally speaks up. It's refreshing to know what goes on in his head.  Anyways, tonight we had our friends Matta and Alanna over to watch Superbad and to cook them dinner for watching our animals. None of us had seen Superbad and I swear it's raunchy but strangely intriguing. I don't know why a lot of your teen movies (actually, it's enjoyable for us older folk as well) make it seem like girls are so easy when they're in high school. Like, even nerdy guys can get the girl if they're someone mysterious enough or if they're awesomely wasted. Yes there are more teens having sex these days but I wonder why???  Most of the time when girls are easy it's because they have a low self esteem and they feel that it's something that will attract a guy to commitment. No girl expects to be ditched the next day and be "that one girl I slept with". However, I'm not turning anyone against this movie I'm just naming my observations. I actually thought some parts of this movie were hilarious. I really like Michael Cera in the movies/shows I've seen him in. He was pretty much the same guy in Juno as he was in Superbad. Both were witty and that's the type of humor I appreciate. Which is where I find appreciation in the Jones Brothers. I don't know where Tim and Brandon come up with these things yet somehow they manage to keep our sides hurting. A lot of people work too hard to be that funny but they find it natural. That's a great trait to have. And I don't know why, but somehow Jonah Hill reminds me of Tman. It's something about his face. Anyways, funny movie and now I can say I've seen it.

I bought our nephew Heelies for his birthday party tomorrow. I'm not sure he knows what they are but I'm sure he would if he's seen others kids with them. I decided that our nieces and nephews do not need anymore toys. Heck, Presley doesn't even have his own bedroom to store things in. How depressing is that for a 7 year old? He doesn't have his own bed or someplace he can retreat to whenever he wants a break. So we either get him more toys that are not used and pile up or clothes that no kids like to get as presents. I was sure he'd like these. I really hope that he is able to wear them.

It has been a busy week. I got a new car battery, Jason put air in his tires and now I found a crack on my windshield. I miss Hawaii :(
